Services for adults and employers
Specific Learning Difficulties are Lifelong
Educational opportunity does not stop at age 16 or 18, it continues into the workplace and is lifelong.
The psychology4education occupational psychology team offers a tailor made, sensitive, flexible approach to the assessment and diagnosis of specific learning difficulties for adults referring themselves, or for employers supporting employees with possible specific learning difficulties.
For adults undertaking professional examinations, our assessments can be used to secure special arrangements. We have helped people studying for higher qualifications in the following professions: nursing, medicine, paramedics, accountancy, law, armed forces, police, and human resource management.
We offer full diagnostic psychological assessment, profiling strengths and weaknesses, which are related to the workplace and job role context.
Once a specific learning difficulty has been diagnosed, our Psychologists offer workplace consultations to assist employees and employers in securing appropriate reasonable adjustments in the workplace. Recommendations are made to support employees via targeted strategies and assistive technology, to comply with current legislation.
